Cracking the confusingly complex is second nature to us at Thales*. Where others get fazed and faint hearted, we grab challenges with both hands and break new ground. If you’re exceptionally enthused about tackling the bafflingly bewildering, the impossibly intractable and the unrelentingly unknowable, we’d like you to create superlative solutions to business brainteasers.

You might not realise it but our work touches all of our lives – every single day. From BACS, the secure network communications system behind 3.7 billion secure electronic transactions every year, to in-flight entertainment systems for passenger planes and state-of-the-art equipment for military aircraft, the scope and scale of our problem-solving abilities knows no bounds.

Join our General Business stream and you’ll experience four six-month rotations in areas including
Programme Management, Commercial, Purchasing/ Procurement, Sales & Marketing and Head Office functions. Alternatively, our specific Finance stream will introduce you to various businesses, again through four six-month rotations. Both streams could take you to any of our UK sites, so as well as developing an overview of the business as a whole, it’s also an opportunity to network, meet new people and experience a broad spectrum of business challenges.

You can come from any degree discipline, as long as you have the ambition, intellect and commercial savvy to stand out from the crowd.

*That’s Thales as in ‘Alice’ by the way.

In 2010 they sold in excess of €40 million of property to their clients, rising to over €75 million in 2011. Their 2012 target is to pass €100 million in sales, and to enable them to achieve this they require target-achieving telephone based sales professionals who have the necessary skill-set & desire to earn in excess of £60,000 per annum.

Based in Chester, they are property investment specialists who acquire property, (both within the UK & internationally), at discounted prices for their database of potential investment clients and new clients who have responded to company marketing.

With many world property prices at a 10-year low, shrewd investors are looking to add BMV properties to their existing portfolios, or to create a new portfolio as a sound investment vehicle. Through their relationships with financial institutes, developers and property sourcing experts, they secure investment properties which are priced substantially below current market value. Many of these properties offer their clients the chance of securing them with little or no money upfront, and have pre-approved mortgages/funding already in place. They provide a range of these types of opportunities to new and existing clients through regular mailings directly to their e-mail address.

The role?

After a period of extensive in-house training, you will fit into their small, but highly successful team as a property investment consultant and be expected to perform the following responsibilities on a daily basis:

Sale of investment property - Key responsibility is to deal with client enquiries which have been generated through their many marketing campaigns. On doing this you will be required to understand the clients needs, then develop their enquiry further to the point of presenting the appropriate investment property solution to them. Once this has been performed there will be the expectation that these opportunities will result in you achieving the desired number of sales to meet your pre-determined monthly targets.

Database management - The strength and clarity of their client database is paramount to the ongoing success of them and as such each investment consultant has the responsibility to ensure that every client record is accurately kept up to date on a daily basis.

Who are they looking for?

You will be an honest, reliable and industrious sales professional who is used to excelling within a fast moving, target-driven sales environment. In addition to this you will be able to demonstrate a track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with a wide range of clients which have resulted in a high level of both customer satisfaction and sales achievements.

A straightforward and articulate communicator you will be a self-assured individual who, through strong questioning & listening skills, can quickly establish the key drivers of each and every client you deal with. In addition to these qualities you will show a high level of commitment towards success and the desire to become a highly respected integral element of a currently harmonious, hard-working and dynamic team.
